About Us

The mission of the Schuylkill Valley Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (SVE PTO) is...

​

  1. To provide a channel of communication among administrators, teachers, and parents.

  2. To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community.

  3. To provide community involvement in the school through social & educational programs.

  4. To bring into closer relationship the home and school so parents & teachers may cooperate intelligently in the development of the child.

  5. To develop between educators and the community such united effort as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.

Why Join the PTO?

Each year, when you become a PTO member, you help us provide educational programs and family events that benefit the students of Schuylkill Valley Elementary School!  

 
JOINING PTO DOES NOT COMMIT YOU TO DO ANYTHING. 

It simply makes you a child advocate. You do NOT have to volunteer. You do NOT have to go to PTO meetings. Although you are very welcome to do both!
